This notice explains what personal information Steve Dent Stunts collects through this website, why, who it is shared with, and your rights. Last updated 15 October 2026.
Who we are
Steve Dent Stunts, The Coach House, Fieldways Farm, Harefield Road, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire WD3 1PE. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us about it at hello@stevedentstunts.co.uk or on 07973 956 416.
What we collect and why
Enquiries and quote requests. When you use the contact form or the quote builder we receive your name, email address, and anything else you give us: phone number, production name, dates, your message and the horses, carriages or tack in your quote. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps you ask for before a booking.
Spam checks. Form messages are checked automatically for signs of spam. Messages that look like spam are still delivered, to our website developer for review, so a genuine enquiry is never lost.
Website analytics, only if you accept. With your consent we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, which device and browser they use, how they found the site, and actions such as sending a form, adding an item to a quote or tapping our phone number. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Emails and calls. If you email or phone us directly, we keep what you send us to deal with your enquiry.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use these service providers to run the website, and they only use it on our behalf:
EverydayCreatives, our website developer, receives a copy of website enquiries so they can make sure the forms work and review messages flagged as spam.
Resend delivers the website form emails.
Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host it logs technical details of requests, such as IP addresses.
Google provides Google Analytics (only if you accept), and serves this site's fonts and many of its photos. Your browser connects to Google's servers to load them, so Google sees your IP address.
OpenStreetMap and unpkg provide the map on our contact page, so your browser connects to their servers when you view it.
Some of these providers handle data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
Cookies and similar storage
Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are only set if you choose “Accept analytics”. They last up to two years.
Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (sds_consent) so we don't ask on every page.
Your quote is kept in your browser's local storage (sds_quote_items) until you send or clear it. It never leaves your device unless you submit the quote.
The last two are needed for features you ask for, so they don't need consent. You can change your analytics choice at any time:
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or ask us to restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent to analytics at any time. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
